Description
I made this in ceramics 2nd semester of senior year. C: It took me forever, you would not believe the angst this happy little house caused me. Let's just say I HATE INORGANIC OBJECTS ok? Ahem. Yeah, working through that. But serioulsy, I have a problem.
This was fun to make. C: The materials here are cheap ol' clay, ceramic glaze, acrylic paint, and lots of glue + sand. The sandy base took me forever, but I love it now.
This is a graduation gift for my oldest sister. My dad was all jealous-like. Poor dad.

I'm in seramics this year. .___. Everyone else seems to be making these perfect clay masterpieces, but I just can't get the stuff to work with me. All I make are these lumpy, terrible shapes that don't look like I put any effort into them at all.
Sure, right now we've only done pinch pots, but, still...I'm so frustrated. Do you have any helpful tips, maybe, that might be able to assist me? :3

p.s. i forgot to mention - the house looks fantastic. I love how it fans out in the middle and then snuggles back inward again. so much fun to look at.
