CM: Carefree Afternoon

Ahhhh at last. I've had this commission sitting on the back burner for far too long and kept the ever-patient in suspense as I couldn't bring myself to finish this piece. Then today I got up early, rearranged my schedule for maximum distraction-free time and colored this almost entirely in one go. I'm so happy with the final result!

The lineart had to be done in two pieces, with Tartii and Kiara on one sheet and Nala and the rocks on another. I just can't fit more than two characters into a sketch and have it come out clean so this was definitely a good choice. The background took about four hours of solid work, not including several breaks for me to stare off into space and wonder what exactly I was doing.
