No Turning Back

Description

Finally completed my initiation picture (doing double duty as an exploration, hopefully that's ok) for the Tsula Tribe in Tokotas, I joined up months ago but never managed to finish this. I was able to peck at it between commissions and I'm finally dooone. I'm actually super happy with how this turned out and feeling like I'm finally making some progress at getting better at backgrounds. This was heavily referenced but hey here's hoping eventually I won't have to do that. 8') Would anyone be interested in commissioning full background pictures like this? They wouldn't be cheap as they take a great deal of work but figured I'd gauge interest. I would be interested in doing one or two after my current commission batch maybe.

I would be lying if I didn't say this was one of the pictures that really made me wanna get into Tokota's, haha! It looks so fun.

Man, that background is just... wow. I love this picture so much. The way you drew Tuk and his handler is so great, you can tell the storm must really be hitting them hard! The colors are wonderful, I love how they make Tuk's colors stand out. I also like the linework on Tuk and especially his expression! The snow looks so soft, and the background looks so vast. It's so gorgeous. ;v;
